What data we process

We only process the data you actively provide to us or that is technically necessary for the website to function. Contact form: name, email address, freely chosen topic and message text — you provide this information voluntarily when submitting the form. Server logs: when you visit the website, our host (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical data such as IP address, time of the request, page accessed, browser type and operating system — solely to provide the service and for security.

Purpose and legal basis

Answering your enquiry via the contact form — legal basis Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries). Secure operation of the website (server logs, spam protection) — legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the availability and security of our service).

Recipients / processors

To make the website work, we use the following service providers as processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR:

Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — hosting and delivery via Cloudflare Pages. Data transfer to the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

Resend, Inc. (USA) — sending form messages by email to us. Only the data entered in the form is transmitted. Transfer to the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses. resend.com/legal/privacy-policy

Umami Cloud (EU) — cookieless web analytics. No cookies are set and no personal profiles are created; only aggregated, non-personal audience data is processed. Data is processed in the EU.

Retention period

We store data from contact enquiries for as long as it is necessary to handle your enquiry and for any follow-up communication — after that it is deleted or, where legal retention obligations exist, archived accordingly. Server logs are automatically deleted or anonymised after a maximum of 30 days.

Cookies

This website currently uses no cookies that require consent. Neither tracking nor marketing cookies are used. Should consent-requiring cookies be used in the future, we will obtain your explicit consent in advance via a cookie banner.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and to withdraw consent given with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). To exercise one of these rights, an informal message to info@evidens.it is sufficient.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali — garanteprivacy.it.

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy if features of the website or legal regulations change. The current version is always available on this page.
